AIVMS knows what your system is capable of, and monitors your computers operating conditions automatically. If a dangerous condition is detected, AIVMS will vocally announce what is happening, and send a VOIP alert to wherever in the world you are located.
AIVMS weather reporting is available for any location in the USA; all information reports can be obtained either on-demand or automatically during DJ mode with user specified reporting frequency.
Traffic report information is updated every 5 minutes. An AIVMS traffic report can consist of route travel times and average speed in addition to accident, jams, and construction incidents. If there are severe issues along the route, the report will typically include alternative routes to avoid delays. AIVMS currently supports traffic reporting for 35 metropolitan areas:
AIVMS includes external support for hardware such as the external relay control option offered for our VN1 hardware packages. Global Positioning Satellite hardware is also addressed, and AIVMS can control several popular GPS navigation software packages with its powerful voice command system. FM radio hardware such as the popular D-Link USB FM system is fully supported, along with several TV hardware solutions.
